Former Redskins WR Terrelle Pryor in critical condition after stabbing

Pryor was stabbed in the chest and shoulder on Friday night, and he reportedly is in critical condition as of the most recent update.

Former Washington Redskins wide receiver Terrelle Pryor is reportedly in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times in the chest and the shoulder on Friday night near his Pittsburgh apartment.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the incident took place at the Heinz Lofts apartment complex in Pittsburgh.

An unidentified woman is in police custody, according to the report.

Pryor was a player in the NFL for seven seasons, and he most recently was a member of the New York Jets in 2018. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns as a QB in 2015, but he excelled as a receiver in his second season, racking up over 1,000 yards receiving and four touchdowns.

The Redskins signed Pryor to a one-year, $8 million deal in 2017, but he only played in nine games and caught one touchdown pass in Washington.

Our thoughts are with Pryor and his family at this time.
