The Baltimore Ravens have seen many of their players try their hand at coaching over the years at many different levels. Some have seen success working with high schoolers, college athletes, and even in the NFL, and the latest former Raven to get a coaching position is one of the team’s all-time greats.
Former Baltimore safety Ed Reed was announced as the new head coach at Bethune-Cook University, where he’ll look to turn the program into a top contender. Reed has voiced his desire to coach for a while, and now he gets his chance at an HBCU, following in the footsteps of another long-time great in Deion Sanders, who did a phenomenal job at Jackson State University.
Bethune-Cookman University Athletics has entered an agreement in principle with Pro Football Hall of Famer Ed Reed to be its 16th head football coach.
