The Baltimore Ravens signed running back Le’Veon Bell to their practice squad in the wake of a multitude of injuries that they suffered at the position before the season began. He was eventually promoted to the active roster, and ended up carrying the ball 31 times for 82 yards and two touchdowns.
Bell was let go by the team after playing in just five games, but genuinely seemed to enjoy his time in Baltimore. Early on Sunday morning directly after Jake Paul won his second-straight fight against Tyron Woodley, this time by knocking him out, Bell took to Twitter and called out Paul to fight him.
@jakepaul fight me, stop tryna fight ppl who can’t box

The knockout moved Paul to 5-0-0 as a professional fighter, but Bell (and many others) aren’t impressed. Plenty of people have complained at the level of competition that Paul has faced, and Bell feels like he can pose a challenge to the YouTube sensation. There is video of Bell training at a gym working on his technique, and he also brought out a boxing-style celebration after scoring a touchdown in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Every time I see an athlete in the ring now I just think… “could they beat Jake Paul?” 😭
Y’all think Le’Veon Bell could do it? 🤔@LeVeonBell pic.twitter.com/61g6ReohCP

It’s unclear what Paul’s next move will be, but Bell obviously wants a piece of the undefeated boxer. Whether the two will match up remains to be seen, but if they ever do, Bell appears to be ready.
