The Baltimore Ravens have had the pleasure of seeing many great football players walk through their doors. However, aside from their on-field production, they are also great men and leaders with wonderful personalities.
Early in the week, news began circulating that former Baltimore defensive lineman Chris Smith passed away at the age of 31. He was known as a bright personality to all who knew him, as he is remembered as not only a good football player, but a better person.

Smith was part of the 2021 Ravens. He signed a one-year contract in July of 2021 but was released in August. He later signed on to be part of the practice squad. He eventually was released from the team in October.
