Former Penn State CB Cam Miller transferring to Big Ten school

Former Penn State cornerback has reportedly decided on his next move out of the NCAA transfer portal.

Former Penn State cornerback [autotag]Cam Miller[/autotag] has reportedly made his decision out of the NCAA transfer portal, and he will not be going too far away from Happy Valley. Miller has signed with Rutgers, according to a report from Pete Nakos of On3 (via X, formerly known as Twitter).

Miller spent less than a week in the NCAA transfer portal after jumping in shortly following the conclusion of Penn State’s season with its College Football Playoff semifinal loss to Notre Dame.

Miller came to Penn State in the Class of 2022. He will take with him two years to use one year of eligibility. Miller is coming off a 2024 season in which he appeared in all 16 games played by Penn State and recorded 27 tackles, mostly as a secondary option behind starters A.J. Harris and Jalen Kimber in the defensive backfield. Harris is expected back at Penn State next season.

Other Penn State players who have officially found new homes out of the NCAA transfer portal so far this offseason include quarterback Beau Pribula (Missouri) and tight end Jerry Cross (Memphis).
