Former Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray named NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Kyler Murray was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after his Cardinals knocked off the Seahawks.

Kyler Murray is having himself quite the sophomore campaign with the Arizona Cardinals, seemingly setting the NFL world on fire every time he takes the field.

That perhaps reached it’s height on Sunday night, as Murray faced off with MVP-favorite Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks and came out on top in dramatic fashion in overtime.

Kyler went 34 for 48 through the air for 360 yards and three touchdowns. He also added 67 yards on the ground along with a rushing touchdown.

The performance earned him the honor of the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Murray has been undeniably thrust into the MVP conversation as he continues to improve with each passing week in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense.

In the best division in football, the Cardinals now sit at 5-2 and are in great shape going down the stretch of the year to make a run at the postseason.
