It was rough day for former Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray on Saturday.
He struggled in an important game for Arizona, as they suffered a 20-12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday that makes their path to clinching a postseason spot much trickier going forward. On top of that, Murray took a big hit and appeared to be shaken up when the Cardinals failed to convert a fourth down late that in essence ended the game.
Murray wound up 31/50 passing for 247 yards with no touchdowns and a killer interception in the endzone. He did also add 75 yards rushing in the loss.
Arizona’s offense simply was never able to muster much of a rhythm, only getting a touchdown once all afternoon. This loss dips them down to 8-7 with a game against the Los Angeles Rams next week that they have to win.
Sooners Wire will provide updates on the status of Murray’s injury when we get them.
