It was a bit of a shock when former [autotag]Notre Dame[/autotag] tight end [autotag]Michael Mayer[/autotag] fell in the NFL draft, but what was many teams loss was the Las Vegas Raiders gain.
The recently moved franchise selected Mayer with the 35th pick of the second round, getting tremendous value for the former All-American. The Irish’s all-time leader will enter a situation where he should be getting plenty of early playing time.
The Raiders, who have been playing in Las Vegas since 2020, brought along their iconic silver and black colors and Mayer looks good in them. Check out the picture Mayer shared on his twitter account with him wearing his new uniform.
