Former Notre Dame QB Ian Book gets another shot at the NFL

Book gets another chance with one of his former teams

It has been quite the interesting NFL career for former Notre Dame quarterback [autotag]Ian Book[/autotag].

Since getting drafted in the fourth round by the New Orleans Saints, he’s jumped around multiple organizations every season, without having an active roster spot. While Book was on the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad, they waived him prior to the start of the season.

One of his former teams, the Philadelphia Eagles, are dealing with an injury to its starting quarterback Jalen Hurts. With that in mind, they had to make a move, and it was going back to a familiar face in Book.

The 26-year old was signed to the Eagles practice squad once again, giving them more depth in case that Hurts won’t be able to go this weekend. Hopefully he sticks around longer than some of his other stints with different team.
