Former Notre Dame basketball player out at ESPN

Too talented to be down long…

If you’re familiar with the ACC Network then you’re certainly familiar with the name [autotag]Jordan Cornette[/autotag].  Cornette was a former Notre Dame basketball player and leads the program in blocks all-time as he played for Mike Brey and the Irish from 2001-2005.

Cornette got into broadcasting after college and has been at ESPN national for the last six years.  He served as the host of ACC Network’s pregame football show “The Huddle” the last three seasons.  Unfortunately that time appears to have come to an end.

Cornette tweeted the following on Friday:

You can’t keep a good man down and we’re certain we’ll see Jordan on a TV screen again soon.
