Former Nebraska receiver visits Louisville

The receiver is looking for his fourth school!

A former Nebraska wide receiver appears to be moving closer to a transfer destination. Isaiah Neyor visited the Louisville Cardinals on Thursday.

Neyor caused some confusion as it had been reported on Wednesday that he had officially transferred to Louisville. Pete Nakos from On3 said that Neyor had filled his documents at 7:23 p.m. ET but that the papers had been withdrawn at 7:58 p.m. ET.

He came to Nebraska last off-season, arriving from the Texas Longhorns. He was a stabilizing veteran wideout in a developing wide receiver room.

Neyor recorded 34 catches for 455 yards and five touchdowns on the year. He did not play in Nebraska’s Pinstripe Bowl victory over the Boston College Eagles.

The wide receiver did have several standout games for the Huskers. He tallied six catches for 121 yards and a touchdown against UTEP in the season opener. He also recorded four catches for 90 yards, two touchdowns against Illinois, four for 89 yards, and a touchdown against UCLA.

The Huskers will have several playmaking wideouts for the future as they focus on reloading the room for the 2025 season. This will be Neyor’s fourth college program after playing for Texas, the Wyoming Cowboys, and Nebraska.
