Former Michigan State defensive lineman Derrick Harmon has declared for the NFL Draft.

Harmon made it official on Monday that he will be heading to the NFL and end his college career. Harmon transferred to Oregon last spring and helped lead the Ducks to the Big Ten title and College Football Playoff appearance.

Harmon played 28 career games for the Spartans during his three years in East Lansing, Mich. He recorded 71 tackles (seven for loss and 3.5 sacks), one fumble recovery and one fumble forced.
