In all the games where we’ve asked former Michigan football players for their predictions, not many anticipated that the Ohio State game — where nearly every player (except Andrew Robinson, whose brother Bradley plays for OSU, thus he abstained) predicted a win over the Buckeyes — that that would be the one that would come true.

Against Wisconsin and Penn State, the former Wolverines were right to predict wins. All were wrong against Michigan State.

But will being on the right side of things prevail once again with the Big Ten Championship Game up next?

Iowa presents a daunting challenge in that it finds ways to win while fielding a statistically awful offense. It wins with defense and special teams, creating a lot of turnovers. So, for the maize and blue to become Big Ten champions, they’ll have to get up for an opponent that’s basically the opposite of sexy. Win, and they’re in. Lose, and it’s a consolation bowl game after being so close to the College Football Playoff.

Here is how several former Michigan Wolverines predict Saturday’s game will go.
