Michigan football is set for its biggest game of the season so far, not because it’s a ranked opponent (it isn’t) but because it’s the first real rivalry game of the season.
While some other programs consider the Wolverines to be their rival, only three games that are essentially big rivalry games — Ohio State, Notre Dame and Michigan State. On Saturday night, for the second-ever home night game against Sparty, MSU will come to The Big House to face the No. 4 maize and blue team.
As usual for big games, we polled several former Wolverines to get their thoughts as to what will happen in the Week 9 contest. In Week 7 against Penn State, former Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson was the closest to the final score. Who will be this time around?
