Former Maryland Terrapin Hooper Greivis Vásquez joined host Alex Roux on the Take Ten Podcast. In this episode, Roux asked Vásquez to pick Maryland’s biggest Big Ten basketball rival. Greivis Vásquez picked none other than the Michigan State basketball program and head coach Tom Izzo.

Greivis Vásquez played all four years of his collegiate career at Maryland. His last season was the 2009-10 season, in which he was one of three Venezuelans playing in NCAA DI men’s basketball.

Vásquez was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies, with the 28th overall pick in the 2010 draft. He is currently an associate head coach for the New Orleans Pelicans NBA G League affiliate team, the Erie Bayhawks.
