While it was all smiles for the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night, it wasn’t so much on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ side. Not only did they lose their 19th-consecutive game, but the loss also came at a cost. The team is down another receiver with the latest news surrounding former LSU Tiger D.J. Chark.
On the third play of the game for Chark, he went down with an ankle injury. It was later reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network to be a fractured ankle, sidelining him indefinitely. Another blow for Chark who didn’t participate in the preseason due to offseason surgery. The Jags now lose one of their veteran wideouts.
#Jaguars WR DJ Chark suffered a fractured ankle, source said. Out indefinitely. Just a brutal injury for one of Jacksonville’s best players.

This season Chark has seven receptions in four games for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Overall, he has hauled in 147 passes for 2,042 yards and 15 touchdowns in his career. Rapoport reported on Friday morning that Chark will likely have surgery, it is unclear at this time if his season is over.
