The former LSU rusher is head to Tampa Bay to join the Buccaneers.

Former LSU star running back Leonard Fournette wasn’t out of work long.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported Fournette intends to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fournette, who played at LSU from 2014-16, was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

The No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft, Fournette played three seasons in Jacksonville. He rushed for over 1,000 yards as a rookie, helping lead Jacksonville to the AFC championship game before struggling in 2018.

Fournette bounced back in 2019, however, the Jaguars had been trying to move on from him for quite some time.

Fournette joins a revamped Tampa Bay offense that features the legendary Tom Brady at quarterback and future Hall-of-Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski.

While Tampa Bay has yet to officially announce his signing, Fournette all but confirmed the move via his Twitter.
