The second LSU player is officially off the board in the 2021 MLB Draft.
Tigers pitcher Landon Marceaux was selected by the Los Angeles Angels at pick No. 80 overall.
He was ranked at 90 on the Top 250 Draft Prospects list.
Marceaux had a breakout season in 2020 ultimately establishing himself as one of the best pitchers in the SEC. The Louisiana native was the Tigers ace going 7-7 overall.

Over his college career, Marceaux had a 14-9 record, with a 3.23 ERA, allowing 179 hits, over 184 innings pitched, and 181 strikeouts. He also earned multiple All-American honors and was a second-team All-SEC selection.
In the NCAA Regional in Eugene Oregon, Marceaux was named Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week after recording a career-best 12 strikeouts over seven shutout innings.
Marceaux also ranked No. 2 in the league in innings pitched and No. 6 in ERA at 2.54.
Marceaux will be one to watch as he continues to advance in his college baseball career.
