Former Lady Vol Bunny Shaw recognized as an elite European player

VFL Bunny Shaw recognized as a top-100 soccer player by the Guardian.

Former University of Tennessee soccer player Bunny Shaw has been recognized as a top female footballer on the world stage.

Shaw graduated from Tennessee in 2019 and has played professional soccer for FC Gironins, a top-flight club in France.

She was rated No. 49 on The Guardian’s list of top 100 female soccer players in the world.

A native of Spanish Town, Jamaica, Shaw leads the D1 Arkema League with 13 goals in 10 matches this season.

She played for the Lady Vols for two seasons and left the program as the team’s all-time leader in goals per game and points per game.

The former Lady Vol was the Southeastern Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2018 and a two-time All-SEC standout.
