The Jets were looking for a trade partner for Edoga, including the Cowboys, reportedly, but could not find one, leading to him being waived Tuesday.
Edoga was splitting first-team reps with rookie Max Mitchell between the time that Mekhi Becton suffered his knee injury and the signing of Duane Brown. He will now compete for the right tackle job in Atlanta with 2019 first-round pick Kaleb McGary.
