As mentioned earlier today, the Jacksonville Jaguars won’t have any players on NFL Network’s “Top-100 Players” list, but they would’ve had they been able to retain Calais Campbell. The former Jag turned Baltimore Raven made his appearance on the show Sunday, coming in at the No. 79 overall spot.

Campbell made the list last year at the No. 54 spot. He followed that up in 2019 by accumulating 56 total tackles, 6.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss. He was voted into the Pro Bowl for the third consecutive time and also garnered a 90.3 grade, per Pro Football Focus.

If that wasn’t enough, Campbell was also a role model off the field earning the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which recognizes a player for their work within the community, as well as their excellence on the field.

Unfortunately, the Jags came into 2020 needing to reallocate money and needing to get younger. They were coming off a two-year skid after nearly going to the Super Bowl in 2017, and that was despite Campbell’s play.
