Former Indiana OL Matthew Bedford commits to transfer to Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Ducks got a transfer commitment from former Indiana guard Matthew Bedford.

The Oregon Ducks added their second transfer of the day on Monday afternoon, getting a commitment from former Indiana offensive lineman Matthew Bedford.

The veteran guard started 28 games for Indiana, most of which came at the right guard spot, with some left guard sprinkled in as well.

Bedford comes to Eugene with one year of eligibility remaining.

Earlier this offseason, Bedford announced his commitment to the Colorado Buffaloes, joining Deion Sanders and his highly-ranked transfer class in Boulder. However, the Ducks stayed persistent and got him to flip his transfer to Oregon.

With Steven Jones graduating from the right guard spot this offseason, Bedford will be a candidate to start there in 2024.
