Former five-star center Yohan Traore to enter transfer portal

The talented big man spent just one season at Auburn.

Former five-star recruit [autotag]Yoahn Traore[/autotag] will enter the transfer portal, he announced Tuesday on Instagram.

He was Auburn’s third-highest-rated signee in program history but spent just one season on the Plains. Despite his talent, he was blocked by several more experienced players in Auburn’s frontcourt and was never able to carve out a role for himself.

He appeared in 25 games and averaged 2.1 points in 9.8 minutes of action per game. He scored a season-high 11 points against Winthrop on Nov. 15.

He is the first Tiger to announce his plans after the end of the season and there is expected to be more movement on the roster as [autotag]Bruce Pearl[/autotag] and Co. look to revamp a roster that went 10-8 in SEC play last season.
