Hopkins lands in an ideal situation.

A major NFL trade is on the horizon, with former Clemson football star DeAndre Hopkins reportedly involved. On Wednesday, reports surfaced that Hopkins, formerly with the Tennessee Titans, is being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs, reigning Super Bowl champions, are the only undefeated team in the NFL at 7-0 this season.

Hopkins has played in all six games for Tennessee, recording 15 catches for 173 yards and one touchdown. Over his career, he has tallied 943 receptions, 12,528 yards, and 79 touchdowns across 168 games, averaging 13.3 yards per catch.

Originally drafted by the Houston Texans in 2013, Hopkins spent seven seasons with the team before joining the Arizona Cardinals in 2020. He signed with the Titans in 2023, where he logged 75 receptions for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns.

At Clemson, Hopkins set records, including 3,020 career receiving yards and 27 touchdowns. His 18 touchdown receptions in 2012 remain a single-season record for the Tigers.
