Former Bengals target and Joe Burrow teammate Thaddeus Moss waived by Washington

An interesting option for the Cincinnati Bengals might be a free agent again.

Thaddeus Moss and the Cincinnati Bengals can be used in the same sentence again.

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, Washington just waived Moss, an undrafted free agent last year who missed all of his rookie season due to injury.

Moss was a hot topic around here after the 2020 draft because he was a friend of Burrow’s during LSU’s title run, never mind one of his favorite targets on the field.

The Bengals indeed put in a call on Moss before he signed with Washington.

Moss fell out of the draft at least in part due to those injury concerns. But he’s an interesting target the Bengals could add now even before the draft to give them more chances at finding steady contributors in the offense — or quality depth at worst.
