Former Badgers LB Leo Chenal inks rookie deal with the Kansas City Chiefs

Leo Chenal officially put pen to paper, signing his first NFL deal:

After being selected with the 103rd pick in the 2022 NFL draft last month, former Badgers linebacker Leo Chenal officially signed his rookie contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday. 

Per Spotrac, Chenal’s contract is projected to be worth $5.044 million in total value with an additional $849K signing bonus for the 2022 NFL season. 

A consensus first-team All-Big Ten selection last year for the Badgers, the 6-foot-3, 250-pound LB led Wisconsin with 115 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks and two forced fumbles.
