The Las Vegas Raiders wrapped up the 2020 season with a thrilling 32-31 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday to finish 8-8 on the season.
Former Alabama star running back Josh Jacobs rushed for 89 yards on 15 carries and found the end zone twice, including the game-winning score with 24 seconds remaining.
Unfortunately for Jacobs, he was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning after a single-vehicle accident and charged with a DUI. Police responded to the accident, and Jacobs was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
After the alleged incident, Jacobs’s lawyers released a statement proclaiming his innocence and state that Jacobs will plead not guilty if this ever goes to court.

Las Vegas coach Jon Gruden spoke to the media on Monday and briefly spoke on Jacobs.
“We’re just aware of it,” Gruden said, via Levi Damien of Raiders Wire.
“We’ll say that Josh is ok and I’m not at liberty to comment on it until I get more facts. But we do have word that Josh is ok and we are looking into the matter.”
Jacobs rushed for 1,065 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2020 after rushing for 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie in 2019.
Jacobs played at Alabama from 2016-18, recording 2,062 yards from scrimmage and 21 touchdowns.
