Oftentimes, it is rare that an NFL player plays for the same team two different times. Well, that is what is going to happen for former Alabama safety Kareem Jackson.
On Tuesday, Jackson was signed off of waivers by the Houston Texans. He had been waived a day prior by the Denver Broncos.
Jackson was the subject of two suspensions this season. He had two questionable hits. The first suspension resulted in a two-game suspension. The second suspension resulted in a four-game suspension. Therefore, he has played in just eight games this season.
Jackson spent nine seasons as a part of the Texans organization prior to joining the Broncos. He will reunite with former Texans teammate and current Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans. It will be interesting to see how he fairs in his reunion in Houston.
Texans claimed S Kareem Jackson off waivers from the Broncos. Jackson now returns to Houston, where he was a 2010 first-round pick out of Alabama.
