Former Alabama OT Chris Owens signs with Pittsburgh Steelers after going undrafted

Chris Owens may have gone undrafted, but he has a new home in Pittsburgh!

Former Alabama offensive tackle [autotag]Chris Owens[/autotag] has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers after going undrafted in the 2022 NFL draft.

Owens is a versatile offensive lineman who started 20 games for the Crimson Tide throughout the duration of his career. He spent time at center, right tackle, and even some snaps as a tight end in 2019.

Despite being a rookie, Owens looks to bring a lot of maturity and almost a veteran presence to the Steelers locker room. Owens initially arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2016 and has learned under the tutelage of Jonah Williams, Jedrick Wills Jr., Cam Robinson, and many more.

Unfortunately, Owens was one of six former Tide players to go un-drafted joining Josh Jobe, Chris Allen, Slade Bolden, LaBryan Ray, and Daniel Wright.
