Former Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson and the New England Patriots have agreed to terms on a new contract for one year, worth up to $2.2 million, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Wilson was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL draft and played for the franchise until 2022, when he was traded over the offseason.
Last year in New England, Wilson appeared in 17 games for 36 tackles, one pass defended and a forced fumble.
Wilson returns to the Patriots’ defense when they need him most, as the rest of the AFC East has loaded up on offensive talent that could result in New England falling behind.
The #Patriots are re-signing LB Mack Wilson to a one-year deal worth up to $2.2 million, per source.
