DeMeco Ryans has been a hot name in the NFL over the course of the 2022 season. The current San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator was a member of the Crimson Tide as an outside linebacker from 2002-2005.
As a successful defensive coordinator, Ryans has now had his name surface near the top of most teams’ wish lists for their vacant head coaching positions.
Recently, Ryans paid his old team, the Houston Texans, a visit. The Texans drafted Ryans in the second round of the 2006 draft and he played there for six seasons.
Now, he returns as a candidate for the head coaching job, the team shared on Twitter.
