Former Alabama defensive lineman Stephon Wynn Jr. announced that he was transferring to Ole Miss on Thursday. Wynn Jr. spent last season at Nebraska.
The South Carolina native began his college career at Alabama. He spent four seasons in Tuscaloosa. Wynn Jr. recorded 16 tackles and served primarily as a backup defensive end for the Crimson Tide.
After the 2021 season, Wynn Jr. entered the transfer portal and chose to transfer to Nebraska.
In his lone season in Lincoln, Wynn Jr. tallied 22 tackles, Following his fifth season of college football, he re-entered the transfer portal yet again.
This time Wynn Jr. will be heading to Oxford to play for the Ole Miss Rebels and Lane Kiffin. His commitment could mean a lot for a Rebels defense that has struggled to stop the run in years past. It will be interesting to see how he performs in his final season of college football.
