On Thursday morning, Michael Casagrande of AL.com reported that former member of the Crimson Tide Scooby Carter had been arrested.
The news then quickly spread and Tony Tsoukalas with BamaInsider.com tweeted about the incident with a screenshot of Carter’s inmate details from the Tuscaloosa Police Department:

Carter’s charges include third-degree domestic violence and harassment, as Tony Tsoukalas of BamaInsider.com reported. His bond was set at $500.
It was recently reported that the rising sophomore defensive back, had entered the transfer portal for the second time since November.
AL.com’s Michael Casagrande reported that both Carter and his girlfriend were arrested on the same charges.
“Officers were called to an apartment at approximately 4 p.m. Wednesday after an argument between the two,” writes Casagrande. “Officers found probable cause to arrest both Carter and Merritt after pushing and shoving from both parties, Tuscaloosa police told AL.com Thursday morning.”
