One of the best hires of this coaching cycle was the UNLV Rebels, who hired former Mississippi State and Florida head coach Dan Mullen. During Mullen’s 13 seasons in the SEC, he posted a 103-61 record and appeared in multiple New Year’s Six Bowls. Mullen accepted the job about two weeks ago but quickly got to work rebuilding the roster.
On Thursday, the Rebels received one of their biggest commitments yet in former Alabama and TCU WR JoJo Earle. Earle will have one year of eligibility remaining for the Rebels with career stats of 47 receptions for 579 yards and five touchdowns.
Coming out of high school, Earle was one of the most sought-after wide receivers in the country, ranked No. 49 in the 2021 recruiting cycle. UNLV also landed former Virginia quarterback Anthony Colandrea in the portal this off-season, so it should be a great transition for Earle. The Rebels open up their 2025 campaign with a trip to Huntsville, TX to take on Sam Houston State.
Ex-TCU and Alabama wide receiver JoJo Earle is expected to transfer to UNLV under new head coach Dan Mullen, @chris_hummer and I have learned for @cbssports/@247sports.
