The Brooklyn Nets are one of the most valuable franchises in the NBA, and according to Forbes’ latest valuation, the team’s value has exploded over the last eight months.
In February, Forbes projected a team value of $2.65 billion, good for seventh in the league behind the Knicks, Warriors, Lakers, Bulls, Celtics and Clippers. In a new list released just before the start of the 2021-22 season, that value has gone up to 3.2 billion, with a one-year change of 21 percent.
The Nets find themselves $100 million behind the Los Angeles Clippers, $300 million behind the Boston Celtics and $500 million short of the Chicago Bulls.
