The Colorado Buffaloes will enter Eugene with a 9-3 record as they take on the Oregon Ducks. The game was originally slated for Dec. 30 but was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.
At 8-6, the Ducks don’t look like quite the formidable opponent they once were. However, in their last ten matchups, Oregon and Colorado have gone an even 5-5 against each other. Neither team has won on the road since 2013 when the Buffs snagged a narrow 48-47 win in Eugene.

The Buffs have already faced two conference opponents this season in Stanford and UCLA, beating the Cardinals and losing to the Bruins. But Monday night’s game against Oregon marks their official opener for the Pac-12 regular season.
With the cancellation of the Kansas game, the Buffs are going to have to work extra hard to put together a season worthy of an NCAA Tournament bid. They’ll need a strong campaign against their conference opponents for the rest of the season. If they can start playing more consistent basketball and get wins over ranked teams such as No. 5 UCLA, No. 9 Arizona or No. 7 USC, then a March Madness appearance could be within their reach.
It all starts at Oregon with tipoff set for 8:00 p.m. MT on Monday.
