Floyd Mayweather teased on social media a comeback next year in Japan.

Floyd Mayweather has teased a comeback once again on social media.

The fighter-turned-promoter said on Instagram that “something big” will be happening next year at Tokyo Dome. He hasn’t fought since his lucrative exhibition against kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa on New Year’s Eve 2018 in Saitama, Japan.

Mayweather, 43, last took part in a sanctioned bout in August 2017, when he knocked out MMA star Conor McGregor.

“Toko Japan,” he said on Instagram. “I’m coming back in 2021. I know the Olympics are in Japan in 2021. But me, myself, Floyd “Money” Mayweather and my team will be doing something big in the Tokyo Dome. … Japan, I’m on my way.”
