It is a big week for Florida football as the team gets set to embark on its first road trip of the season. [autotag]Billy Napier[/autotag] and Co. will travel to Knoxville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers in a clash between two historic Southeastern Conference rivals.
The Vols come into the matchup with a perfect 3-0 record after beating the Ball State Cardinals, Pitt Panthers and Akron Zips to open the season. The Orange and White handled the former and latter with little issue, while Pitt took Tennessee into overtime on its home turf, only to ultimately fall in that four-hour marathon.
The Gators are 2-1 after beating the Utah Utes to open the season as well as an unencouraging win over the South Florida Bulls, with an even less inspiring loss to the Kentucky Wildcats. The last two games have seemingly been a 180-degree turn from what was seen in Week 1.
Florida holds the all-time edge in this series, 31-20, and has won the last five meetings between the two schools; prior to Tennessee’s last win, the Gators had taken 11 in a row. Take a look below at what the oddsmakers think about the upcoming SEC game.
