The chaos in the SEC continued on Saturday thanks fo Florida.
The Gators came into the game with Ole Miss as double-digit underdogs. The insult led to inspiration as they downed the Rebels, 24-17.
The loss was Ole Miss’ third and dealt the Rebels’ CFP hopes a major dent if not a crushing one.
DJ Lagway threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns as the Gators improved to 6-5.
Jaxson Dart of Ole Miss threw for 323 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. He was picked twice late in the fourth quarter on Ole Miss’ final two drives.

The winning touchdown came on a Montrell Johnson Jr. nine-yard run with 7:40 left in the fourth quarter.
Ole Miss came into the game ranked ninth in the CFP. The loss will certainly drop the Rebels below the top 12.
