While the college basketball transfer portal has been active during the NCAA Tournament, the college football portal continues to see its fair share of additions as well.
The latest isn’t good news for Florida fans, however.
On Thursday, offensive lineman T.J. Moore announced he has entered the transfer portal and is seeking a fresh start with a new program. The former four-star recruit out of Charlotte, North Carolina, has seen action in four-straight seasons with Florida but all in reserve time. As a graduate transfer, he’s seeking to find a program to come in and start right away for his final season.
(function (d, s, n) {
var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
js = d.createElement(s);
js.className = n;
js.src = “//player.ex.co/player/e5869bc6-faf6-4b7a-8c06-b5610c96a8fe”;
fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
}(document, ‘script’, ‘exco-player’));
It also hasn’t taken long for Moore to see some interest from programs in his new recruitment. Per Mike Farrell of Rivals, Kansas, Temple, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State and Western Kentucky have already shown interest.
With interest coming in, it shouldn’t be long before Moore finds a new home. For the Gators, this is a blow to their depth on the offensive line which has struggled to play at a high level over the past few years.
