The Florida Gators leading receiver is on his way out from a successful college career and is going to the big leagues.
Senior wideout [autotag]Ricky Pearsall[/autotag] took to social to announce his declaration for the 2024 NFL draft. Pearsall will join a terrific class of wideouts and should be a high value prospect going into the combine.
Pearsall made a full statement alongside a nostalgic montage of highlights throughout high school, his stint at Arizona State and, of course, his final games at Florida.
Thank you Lord for the countless blessings. Proud to say I put my blood, sweat, and tears into this program. Thank you to all of Gator Nation for having my back throughout my time here.
Humbled to announce my next journey ahead…#2024nfldraft

“All I ever wanted to do was since I first walked into the Swamp was to make all of you proud,” Pearsall said in part of his statement. “I will forever be a Gator and always represent myself as a Gator.”
Pearsall made his official declaration at the end of the statement.
“I want to take this opportunity to say that I am deeply blessed, proud and excited to take my talents to the next level and declare for the NFL draft,” Pearsall said. “I will do everything in my power to make the Gator Nation proud while fulfilling my lifelong dream. Much love to all involved in my story.”
Pearsall started every game for the Gators this season, hauling in 65 catches for 965 yards and four reception touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns.
The senior will join teammate and center Princely Eguakun in this year’s draft class. Eguakun declared for the draft on Monday afternoon.
