Just yesterday the Florida Gators basketball program lost their first player from the 2020-21 roster as talented guard Tre Mann announced he was heading to the NBA. Now, they have lost another player but this time it’s to the transfer portal.
Sophomore guard Ques Glover has officially entered the transfer portal following his second season in Gainesville:
Glove committed to Florida as a three-star prospect back in April of 2019 as a part of Mike White’s impressive class that featured Mann, Scottie Lewis, Omar Payne, and Jason Jitoboh.

In his two years at Florida, Glover never really found his groove. He averaged just 2.5 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game this season while playing 8.4 minutes. As a freshman, Glover averaged 12.1 minutes per game and shot 43.2 percent from the field while averaging 4.4 points. He fell behind Mann and Tyree Appleby this season, limiting his time in the rotation.
Florida could look at the transfer portal to fill some needs on their roster as it will be one that needs to be retooled a bit this offseason. That will be White’s biggest challenge as he looks to take the next step with the program.
