Florida basketball signee Kowacie Reeves’ reputation among analysts is growing big time. The shooting guard from Macon, Ga., is now a five-star recruit and the No. 25 overall player in the 2021 recruiting class, according to Rivals.

Reeves has seen his stock skyrocket since committing to the Gators on April 30. Two years ago, he didn’t even appear on the Rivals150. Now, he’s considered one of the best prospects in the entire class.

At 6-feet-6-inches, 180 pounds, Reeves is the ideal size for a wing shooter. His length and athleticism are major factors of his game, and he’s got elite shooting ability.

A sought-after recruit with 14 other offers (including one from conference rival Tennessee), Reeves locked in his decision to play for the Gators by signing his National Letter of Intent on Nov. 11.

He should be a candidate to immediately start in Gainesville, as this is a Florida team desperate for a high-caliber offensive player with Reeves’ frame.

He may be the only player in the Gators’ 2021 class at the moment, but he’s one who should be very impactful.
