LSU’s [autotag]Flau’Jae Johnson[/autotag] has made a name for herself on and off the court.
The guard led LSU to a win over Middle Tennessee to advance to the Sweet 16 with 21 points and four rebounds, sparking LSU’s run in the third quarter.
That performance came just a few days after she released her new single titled AMF, a collaboration with rapper NLE Choppa. The song already has over 215,000 streams on Spotify and was featured on LSU’s social media following the win.

Johnson’s rap career first drew attention when she appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2019, where she advanced all the way to the show’s quarterfinals.
As LSU progressed in the NCAA Tournament last year, Johnson’s rap career grew too, with her fame skyrocketing after LSU’s national championship. That run included a collaboration with Louisiana native Lil Wayne, who sent in a verse for her album.
Johnson is just a sophomore, but she’s already one of the sports top stars. She’s averaged 14.4 points per game this season, improving her average by more than three points from last year.
LSU will need Johnson to come up big down the stretch as it’s two wins away from another Final Four appearance.
