Annor Boateng, like Nick Smith Jr., Moses Moody and Bobby Portis before him, is a five-star Little Rock basketball star.
Now Arkansas fans are hoping Boateng is like Smith, Moody and Portis in that he will also bring his game to Fayetteville and play for the Razorbacks.
Step one to that end came earlier in the week when Boateng listed Arkansas as potential destination. The Hogs were included with Ohio State, Indiana, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Missouri, Auburn and LSU. No timetable was given on a decision.
Boateng is a 6-foot-5 wing who plays high school ball at Little Rock Central and is the reigning Gatorade Player of the Year. On3 rates him as a five-star prospect and the No. 9 player in the country out of the Class of 2024. At 247Sports, Boateng is a four-star player and the No. 38 player in the class.
Either way, his choosing of Arkansas would go a long way in continuing the recruiting dominance coach Eric Musselman has established since becoming Razorbacks coach.
