Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program took the next step in the recruitment of a five-star player in the 2024 class.
Guard [autotag]Trentyn Flowers[/autotag] made an update to his recruitment on Thursday, narrowing his list of 30 offers down to a top 13 list. He made the announcement via Twitter on Thursday, naming North Carolina, Kentucky, Creighton, Florida State, Louisville, Oregon, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, Georgetown, Kansas, Alabama, and Georgia State.
The 6-foot-8, 180-pound wing is among the top players in the 2024 class and recently took a visit to UNC in September as one of his two so far.. He visited Memphis in early October as well.

In addition to those visits, Flowers will also visit Louisville, Georgia State, and Creighton in his recruitment.
It’s still very early in this recruitment but you have to feel good about UNC’s chances right now. With just one player committed in 2024, Davis and his staff are really hoping to add a few more players to make a big class.
