On Friday the Auburn Tigers men’s basketball team received a bit of good news. Five-star power forward GG Jackson listed his top six options. He isn’t only looking at the college level but the professional level as well.
The Tigers were listed amongst five other options including fellow SEC school, South Carolina. Powerhouse programs Duke, Georgetown, and North Carolina were also in the mix. The final option could be going the professional route with the NBA’s G-League.
The product of Columbia, South Carolina, is a high-priority prospect for the Tigers in 2023. Although there isn’t an exact date for a commitment, it is expected that a decision will be made within the next month. As it stands, Auburn is firmly in the mix to land the five-star.
Auburn is still waiting on their first commitment of the 2023 cycle after signing three-star point guard Tre Donaldson and four-star small forward Chance Westry in the 2022 class.
