The recruitment for five-star forward Jarin Stevenson appears to be heading to a finish line in a hurry.
After taking more visits, with his final one to North Carolina a few weeks ago, the Pittsboro, North Carolina native has trimmed his list down to three schools. Stevenson will focus on North Carolina, Alabama, and Virginia, and is likely to make a decision soon on his recruitment.
The 6-foot-10, 200-pound forward has been a target of North Carolina for a few years now and Hubert Davis and his staff have made him a priority throughout the process. At one time, the Tar Heels were considered the favorites to land Stevenson and as it stands now, that still might be the case.
Decision time is here for 5⭐️ Jarin Stevenson. The final three schools he will be choosing from are: UNC, Alabama and UVA.
Stevenson has not yet indicated whether he will reclassify or not.
Where do you think he ends up?

The other thing to factor into Stevenson’s college choice is whether or not he will reclassify into 2023. He’s currently a 2024 prospect but has flirted with the idea of moving into 2023.
If he does do that, UNC has a spot open for him and would take him in that class.
North Carolina currently has three commitments in 2024, holding the number one class with two five-star recruits and a four-star recruit. Adding Stevenson would be another huge boost for the Tar Heels.
Stevenson is ranked as the No. 24 overall recruit, No. 4 power forward and No. 3 player in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports rankings.
