Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels are full go in their non-conference schedule as things get tougher beginning this week with Tennessee.
But Davis and his staff are also focusing on recruitment and trying to build on an impressive 2024 recruiting class. One player the Tar Heels have their eyes on in 2024 is Jasper Johnson.
The Link Academy product is one of the top player in the 2025 recruiting class and has a total of 19 offers in his recruitment. As his recruitment heats up, Johnson is taking visits and one could be on the way to North Carolina.
Brandon Jenkins of 247Sports wrote on Johnson’s recruitment and revealed that the recruit is aiming to visit UNC in the winter:

That’s a big step forward for UNC in the race for Johnson as he’s already taken visits to Missouri and West Virginia. Both Cincinnati and Kentucky are also in the mix as well.
The 6-foot-4, 170-pound combo guard is ranked No. 10 overall, the No. 2 combo guard and No. 1 player in the 2025 recruiting class per 247Sports.
