Five-star forward Caleb Holt enjoys visit to Auburn

Auburn welcomed the state’s No. 1 player from the 2026 cycle over the weekend, and made quite the impression.

One of the state’s top small forwards from the class of 2026 paid a visit to the Plains last weekend and raved about his experience.

[autotag]Caleb Holt[/autotag], a five-star small forward from Buckhorn High School in metro Huntsville, visited Auburn over the weekend to take in practice as well as Auburn football’s game with Samford at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

In an interview with AuburnUndercover ($), Holt says that he enjoyed the intense practice that head coach [autotag]Bruce Pearl[/autotag] orchestrates, and the team’s “hate to lose” mentality.

Holt’s recruitment is starting to heat up, as he has received five offers to this point. Georgia, Alabama, and Ole Miss are among those who have offered, but the Tigers were the first to do so on April 11, 2022. As a freshman, Holt led the Buckhorn Bucks to the Class 6A championship and was voted as the classification’s Player of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.

Holt is the state of Alabama’s top prospect according to 247Sports for the class of 2026 and is the nation’s No. 4 player.
